A versatile turnout blanket with 1650D waterproof 150g outer and a detachable neck.

The Back on Track Obsidian is a multi-purpose outdoor blanket. The anatomical fit and soft foam padding on top of the withers lifts the blanket slightly to relieve pressure on the withers and increase comfort for the horse.

Both the blanket and neck are made of a water-repellent fabric (5000mm-3000gsm) and in the inner layer a woven Welltex fabric®, which is closest to the horse’s coat. The lining protects the coat from abrasion and the fabric provides a powerful reflection of infrared energy. The large blanket allows the Welltex® material to exert its therapeutic effect on a large area of the horse’s body.

The Obsidian blanket can help stimulate blood flow to all major, important muscle groups – making it an excellent choice before and after any workout, as well as during rest and recovery. The Welltex effect can contribute to improved joint mobility and ease of movement.

The blanket is held in place by double chest buckles, crossed belly girths and a plastic-covered tail cord with D-rings. The blanket attaches easily and securely to Back on Track Rhyolite liners.
